Full custom .270 Winchester sporter built by Bruce Dawson of West Plains, MO on a commercial proofed Oberndorf Mauser action with all matching numbers. 24" Douglass Premium barrel with banded ramp front sight but no rear sight. Reciever with stipled front ring with Mauser logo on top and on left siderail. Buehler type safety. Fully adjustable trigger. Bullet release floorplate. Leupold 2x7 Vari-XII with Duplex in Redfield rings and two piece base. All metal is satin rust blued. Stock is of American Black Walnut with very nice figure done in English style with pancake cheekpiece and English style point pattern checkering with Ebony forend tip. 13 1/2" LOP to Model 70 steel buttplate with widows peak. 8lb 15oz
This gun is as new from the maker and is a very well done piece with nice inletting, checkering, and wood figure.
