Elrod Granite Mountain .416 Rigby SOLD!
Winston Elrod .416 Rigby built on a Granite Mountain true magnum length double square bridge Mauser action. This gun features a 24" Krieger barrel with NECG banded ramp front sight, banded sling swivel stud, and NECG island express rear sight with one standing and one folding leaf. Joe Smithson quick detachable 1" rings with spring tension caps for the square bridges when scope not in use. Two panel bolt knob checkering. Three position side swing safety. Fully adjustable Timney trigger. Stocked in the English style with point pattern checkering, ebony forend tip, and pancake cheekpiece. A very nice piece of English walnut well layed out for a big bore with excellent grain flow through the wrist. Nice color and contrast. Double crossbolts and a barrel recoil lug. LOP is 13 3/4" to a Silver's pad. Weight is 9lb 8oz with rings but no scope. This is an exceedingly nice piece as new from the builder. It is tough and built to last. Ready to go to Africa.
