Francotte Knock About 12 gauge Von Lengerke & Detmold import and so engraved on action body and barrels. Built in 1925 with 26" IC/F ejector barrels with raised file cut rib and brass front bead. Bores are 1925 new. R-- .730/.011 L-- .730/.032 Receiver retains 40% original case colors. Greener crossbolt. Anson & Deeley forend release. Buttstock with open Prince of Wales grip. Better than average figure for a Knock About. 13 5/8" LOP to old ventilated pad. DAC-- 1 1/2" DAH--2 3/4" 6lb 11 oz Barrels ring. Action is tight and on face. Ejectors timed. Both forend and buttstock are solid for another 85 years of service. 98% barrel blue, possibly a reblue. 85% trigger guard blue. Original stock finish at 85% and checkering at 88% Good value in a pre-war ejector Francotte.
