Krieghoff 30-06 Springfield Sporter SOLD!
Springfield sporter made by Krieghoff and so marked in barrel channel. BUG proof marks. 1933 manufacturing. 24 inch barrel with banded ramp front sight with push-button hood release. Bore has very slight roughness. Barrel band sling swivel/tie down. European walnut stock with ebony forend tip,steel grip cap,pancake cheekpiece, and checkered/engraved steel buttplate. Noske sidemount and scope. Made for an American? Made for export to America? Who knows? A neat and rare piece of Americana discussed in Petrov's book on 20th Century Gunmakers.
