Winchester Model 70 Pre-War .270 $1295
Pre-War Model 70 in .270 Winchester built in 1941. 24" barrel with excellent bore and integral ramp front sight. Missing hood. Correct rear sight. Added period correct Tilden safety lever to facilitate scope use. Period correct Weaver K4 scope in Redfield rings and one piece base. Rear reciever bridge has had a single hole drilled and tapped for one piece base. Correct pre-war stock with 20-line checkering has been shortened to 13" LOP over 1" pad. Rear sling swivel repositioned and original hole filled with a brass cartridge. Factory original blue at 96% except trigger guard which is thinning. Original stock finish at 85% with scattered dents and dings from normal field use. 8lb 14oz A proven performer over its 70 years and ready for another 70 years.
