High quality Belgium hammer gun with 28 inch "The Climax Fine Damascus" extractor barrels and so inscribed on raised file cut solid rib. Rebounding hammers. Action body features 60% coverage period game scene and scroll engraving. Double triggers. Straight grained European walnut stock with Prince of Wales grip. 14" LOP to checkered horn buttplate. Deeley forend release and horn forend tip. Bores measure .722 right and left. They exhibit slight roughness but would easily polish out as the wall thickness is .044 on the right and .043 on the left measured 9 inches from the muzzle. Choked Skeet (.004) and Mod (.024) Weighs in at 7lb 8oz Both buttstock and forend are solid. Barrels tight and on face. This gun carries pre-1897 proofs and thus requires no FFL but remains in remarkable condition. A great vintager ready for another 114 years.
