Webley & Scott 720 20 Gauge SOLD!
Webley & Scott Model 720 20 gauge produced in 1970 and imported by Service Armament Co Ridgefield, N.J. as engraved on left barrel. This gun has 26" dovetail lump F/IC ejector barrels with a raised file cut rib with silver front bead. Bores are perfect measuring .0612 right and left. Choked .008 on the right and .027 on the left. Chambers are 3" Reciever with 40% coverage English scoll engraving and retains 98% vivid case colors. Barrel blue remains at 99%. Floorplate and trigger guard blue at 96%. Straight grip stock of English walnut with stongly contrasting dark lines. 14 5/8" LOP to a checkered butt. DAC-1 3/8" DAH-2 1/8" This gun weighs in at a carry all day weight of 5lb 13oz
This is a fine English game gun totally original and in proof. It remains in excellent overall condition cased in a slightly tattered Webley case which I think predates this gun. Excellent value here.
