Full custom Mauser in .270 Winchester built by Mr.Duane Wiebe on a 1909 Argentine action. Features a 22 1/2" featherweight contour barrel with a flip up front sight. 4-panel bolt knob checkering with "worm track" bolt body detail. Side swing safety. Fully adjustable trigger.
Bottom metal with full coverage Acanthus leaf and scroll engraving with Gold inlayed elk, all very well done. Near exhibition French Walnut stock with wrap around 32LPI checkering, shadow line cheekpiece, Biesen grip cap, and Biesen steel trap buttplate. 14 1/8" LOP. Ebony forend tip and Talley 2-screw sling swivel studs. Leupold Vari-X III 2.5x8 scope with duplex reticle in Buehler engraved rings.
This piece weighs only 8lb 2oz with scope and rings. Mr. Wiebe has placed lightning cuts in the reciever and rear tang to reduce weight.
This light weight gun is in virtually new condition by a premier American gunmaker. Buy this one now at half of replacement cost or order a new one and wait 2 years.
