Winchester Model 70 30-06 $1475
Winchester Model 70 in 30-06 with Griffin & Howe sidemount with 1" split rings. High comb stock and steel buttplate with widow's peak. This gun was recieved by Abercrombie & Fitch in August of 1957 for a wholesale price of $76.24 plus $8.39 Pittman-Robertson excise tax and sold in the New York store for $129.95 in October of 1957 to Mr. T.J. Stulz. I would assume the Griffin & Howe sidemount was put on at the time of purchase as it is definitely their work. Griffin & Howe research records included with this American Classic which remains in very good condition.
