Webley & Scott Model 701 with 25 inch ejector IC/F dovetail lump barrels with swamp rib and silver bead front sight. Cased in correct canvas and leather trunk case. 1964 manufacturing. 2 3/4 inch chambers proved 3 1/4 Tons. Bores are as new. R-.732/.013 L-.731/.042 6lb dead even. Deluxe wood with drop points. Excellent color and contrast. 14 1/2 inch LOP to checkered butt. DAC-1 1/2" DAH-2 1/4" Double triggers. Splinter forend. Case colors remain at 100% Bluing is 98-99% Wood is 97% with a few light handling marks. The Model 701 has much more engraving than the more commonly encountered Model 700 with deluxe wood, drop points, and checkered rather than lined butt. This gun is near new with new mechanics and very light for all day carry. Excellent value.
